SubSquare has released an update called Kintsugi 1.8.1. Here are the major changes:
- They upgraded their polkadot dependency to 0.9.17
- They fixed some bugs in btc-relay and democracy
- They don't charge a tx fee for execute_redeem

1. There was a mistake in the way the stable parachain confirmations were set.
2. The mistake was because they were using a different block time than what is used in parachain mode.
3. They have proposed a solution to fix this mistake.
4. The solution involves changing the number of blocks needed for confirmation to 300.
5. They obtained this number by multiplying the block time by the number of blocks needed.
